Read About Me
Hi. I’m Sarah. I live outside Atlanta with my husband and three kiddos, ages 11, 9, and very close to 6.
In a previous life, I taught elementary school. Then, I started working with other teachers and loved it. Now, I work from home (mainly writing book-based educational curriculum) and homeschooling our children using the Charlotte Mason method. (If you don’t know Miss Mason, then shoot me a message and I’ll help get you acquainted.)
My mother read to my brother and me from the moment we were born, and books have always been an enormous part of my life. When I started teaching, and discovered I didn’t have a clue what I was doing, I often relied on books to save the day. Then, when I started to feel somewhat confident as an educator, I realized that I could teach almost anything if I just had the right book. This led to a book-buying problem that continues today.
I am obsessed with children’s literature and believe there’s a book to teach everything.
