31 Days of Amazing Kids' Books

31 Days of Amazing Kids’ Books!

Screen shot 2013-10-02 at 6.10.35 PMNormally, I’m not that much of a bandwagon-jumper-onner, but what the heck.  It’s October, it feels like fall, and I’ve been finding some great reads lately. So, this month, I’ll be linking up to The Nester‘s 31 Days Challenge. I’ll be sharing amazing books (and some fun accompanying activities and ideas) for the little people in your lives.

Apple by Nikki McClure

This is Apple, by the very talented Nikki McClure. Using her trademark paper cuts, McClure tells the story of an apple found, enjoyed, lost, and turned into something new. There is a single word on each page opposite the paper cut art, and it’s a great springboard for little ones to make up and tell their own apple stories.  My three (and a half!) year old adores it, and the soon-to-be two year old loves to find the apple on each page.

Coming up tomorrow: another apple book, and a little bit of apple-related fun!
